Hendy Wedding Weekend

I didn't get very many shots this weekend but we had a blast.  Sy was actually here, I promise.  He was in the wedding so Brad, Shaunna and I went to the wedding together.

A HUMONGOUS THANK YOU  to Sister Molly who watched all the kiddos while we were at the wedding!!

Flutter, Flutter

We keep seeing this little guy in our back porch flower pots.  He's (we call it a he, not sure why) missing one of his little bottom wing thing-ies (ya bottom wing thing-ies, very technical, I know).  This kiddos love him and always ask me to check if its the same one.

G-Sale....Never Again!

So Molly, Sally (the neighbor) and I had a G-Sale...  We were ready to rid ourselves of everything baby. It was just a Fri/Sat Sale and we did AWESOME! We were a little nervous as we started setting up Thursday night in the POURING down rain. I think we decided that this will be our last G-Sale, it is soooooo much work!  Not to mention we had 6 kiddos to keep track of the entire time.

The BEST part of the day, putting all the left overs in a pile for the Animal Rescue to come pick up.  The G-Sale is OVER.  Love this pic of the boys rolling the tires over to the pile.

Since We've Been Home...

We've been busy...

Filled up the pool, and had the cousins over.

Rented and auger and drilled 60+ holes around the property. Fence post holes, tree holes, drain holes, play structure support holes, you name it Brad drilled it

Picked raspberries...enough to freeze 5 gallon size Ziploc bags, YUM!

And managed to fill a few of the holes Brad drilled.

We have also been gearing up for our BIG G-Sale this weekend.

Cabin 2012 - Our Last Leg Home

We left the cabin around 1:00pm and arrived at out hotel around 4:00.  We were a sight let me tell you.  The kiddos hadn't bathed in a week (except for the daily playing in the river) and even though brad and I did get a solar shower midway through the week we were feeling a little scuzzy.  Our hotel room was AWESOME.  2 rooms, 2 50" plasma's, sitting room, dining room, and a super awesome bathroom with giant shower and this giant jacuzzi tub.  We only stayed one night, but the kids managed to get two baths in.  The hotel even provided the bubbles!

After we are smelling fabulous again we head to Brads Aunt Pearls house for Dinner.  Brad's cousin Denise, her husband Brian and their three girls were the too.  The kiddos had a blast together.  It was a great time spent with family we don't get to see often enough. Thanks Ken and Pearl for dinner!
These three were like peas in a pod.

...because I love pics of sleeping kiddos.  This is our last night of vacation.  Brad and I watched the Hunger Games in our room.  Kinda cool since I read the books on vacation. I actually only finished book three the day before.  As usual the book was WAY better than the movie.

We hit the hotel pool after our continental breakfast Saturday morning.

We were in Albany around lunch time.  Papa Rob just got 2 of his new goats, he'll get the next 2 soon, they were not quite old enough.  They are adorable and the kids that they were pretty cool.  Parker and Claire named these two.  Can you guess what Claire named hers? PRINCESS, shocker huh? She is the one with a red collar.

Parker REALLY didn't want to leave his cousin, SO STINKIN' CUTE!

Our last stop of the trip was to the outlets in Woodburn.  We have kinda made this an end of vacation tradition.  We got the kiddos some school clothes/shoes and grabbed an ice cream. Only an hour till home, YIPPEE!

We made him by dinner time, the best part is it's only Saturday, one more day until we are back to the daily grind.  Man I love vacation!!!

Cabin 2012 - Part 4

Our last day and a half at the cabin was spent relaxing, reading, and spending a little more quality time together just the four of us.
Last year Claire was in diapers.  Where does the time go?

She is soooo adorable, right?

After lunch we headed back to Foster Creek, this time we tried a new spot.  We got eaten alive by the "danged ole' skeeters", but I got some real cute pics so it was worth it:)

Owen successfully met his goal of throwing a rock "all the way over" the river at each spot we stopped at this year.  What an arm;)

That evening we hit the hunting roads one last time. These two kiddos LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, driving the hunting roads.

Then it was back to the cabin for some s'mores around the fire.  The perfect ending to a perfect day!
Friday morning we cleaned the cabin up, re-stocked the wood pile and packed up to hit the road to Eugene.

It is so fun seeing how much the kiddos love being at the cabin and how much more they can do as each year passes.  It seems like just yesterday that we spent their 1st Birthdays here.  It's so hard to leave, but knowing we will be back next year makes it a little easier.
