Carving Pumpkins

Claire's Pumpkin (I died it's eyes blue like our little Beauty).

Owen's Masterpiece. As you can see, he drew what he wanted and I carved out his vision.

Uncle Doug's Buck

Uncle Doug came over to show Owen his Buck. At first Owen was not sure but he warmed up to it pretty quick. Owen warms up to anything when Uncle Doug is around as he has him wrapped around his cute little pinky finger!

Our First Cousin on the Way!

Claire and Owen's first cousin is on the way! That's right...........Auntie Kenzie and Uncle Ricky are having a BABY!! Finally we can spill the beans (or blog the beans in this case). We are so excited we can't hardly wait to meet baby smith. We love that they will be so close in age and geography! If you ask Owen where the baby is he pulls up Auntie Kenzie's shirt and says right there (in Owen words). Mom and Baby are doing good. They are about 12 weeks along. Kenzie and I took these pictures of the kiddo's so they could tell Grandma and Grandpa Clark the news using the "t-shirt" method we have come to know and love. Looking forward to Cinco de Mayo (the due date).

Doctors Appointments

Owen's 2-Year
26 pounds, 7 ounces
34 inches tall
My little 25th percentile boy!
All was well, he's a growing little boy. Owen had his first flu shot.....man did he hate that. Well, really he hates everything about being at the doctors office, the scale, the head measure-er, the shots, oh and the ear thing he really hates that ear thing! HE KEPT SAYING OUT MAMA:-(
Claire's 9-Month
17 Pounds, 10 ounces
27 inches tall
My little 25th percentile girl!
Claire is doing great too! She had a few shots, cried a bit and then was all smiles. Owen used to be like that too! She didn't poo on the scale table this time so that was a big bonus! She is growing and developing so quickly I can't hardly keep up. I just want her to be my baby forever.

Halloween Fun From Auntie Katie

Auntie Katie Sent these fun Halloween goodies in the mail Wednesday. The kiddos loved it. Owen went to bed that night with his pumpkin flashlight. The next morning we got up to go to their doctors appointments and I told Owen he could take two toys....he picked his pumpkin flashlight and sisters pink flashy pumpkin necklace. What a silly boy. Now we are having fun with the singing halloween card........shake, shake, shake, shake your "boo"ty. Owen opens and closes it all day long.....it's great let me tell you!!!!!

Laundry Day

The boys have fishing and suburbans......we have laundry day. That doesn't seem fair!! But isn't she adorable. Claire has had a fever the last couple days , but she is still such a happy little girl!

Yes.....They Caught These!

The successful fishermen.

Male Bonding

These are my men. Owen helping Dad work on the suburban, he needs all the help he can get. I am happy to report that the suburban was running after this work session!

More Crafts

Auntie Molly got Owen this kit for a planter box. We got the directions out (something I don't normally do...but I'm trying to set an example:-), and put it together. Owen hammered and pushed and pulled and put the box together. Then he planted his little garden. Soooo cute!
