Christmas Eve 2011

Before we headed out to Jim and Gloria's for Christmas Eve dinner we walked around downtown Grants Pass and looked at the lights and the city tree. The kiddos were calling it the "world tree" and I'm not exactly sure why, but so cute
After the lights we made it to the JoJo's. Gloria and Karli were quite the little hostesses. Dinner was great and the kiddos had a blast getting spoiled. The JoJo's gave Claire and Owen a Charlie Brown Christmas book that sings and tells the Christmas story, it was a BIG hit.
When we got home the kiddos put on their mucca's and got the milk and cookies ready and set out for Santa's much anticipated arrival. This was the first year that they were both super excited for Santa, it was so fun to see. Then we read The Night Before Christmas and it was off to bed. What I would give to know the thoughts of my kiddos that night.

We celebrated Christmas with my family when we got back from Jamaica since my parents were there with the kiddos. I had to borrow pics from everyone since my camera went swimming in the Caribbean:-( I am talking with Santa about a new one! So here are a few pics of the festivities.
Auntie Katie got the boys these adorable owl hats, she even helped make them. ADORABLE!
This picture has been in my parents house for as long a I can remember. Recently they took it down because it needed some repairs. I snuck it out of the house at Thanksgiving and had it cleaned up and framed. The picture is of my dad (just barely old enough to walk) at Linfield College were my Grandparents met and went to school. My Great Grandma Thurston took the picture. This was my gift to my Dad this year.
Auntie Katie made these matching aprons for me and my sweet baby girl. Clayton got his special Amma Debbie made stocking.

And Owen James made Brad and I this Christmas plate at school. It has his little finger prints in paint as snow flakes. What a great present from our little man. He's really into the picture, can you tell:-)

A BIG THANK YOU to Jeff and Ceal, Auntie Molly, and my Parents for watching these kiddos while we had a much needed vacation. We love you guys and appreciate you SO MUCH!

Jamaica

We had a BLAST in Jamaica! The weather was a 85 degrees, 80% humidity, with one day that had a couple showers. The people were awesome, the resort was unbelievable and the food was delish. We couldn't have had a better time... did I mention that the drinks were free:-) We had such a relaxing time, we didn't even need to recover when we got home!
