Our Garden

We planted our garden today, yippee! It supposed to rain for the next couple days and then be nice for a while. It was finally time! Claire and Owen LOVED LOVED LOVED planting. I let the kids each have their own tire. Claire picked cauliflower and broccoli to plant in her tire and Owen decided he would plant strawberries. In addition to what the kids picked out we have zucchini, cucumbers, beets, lettuce, tomatoes and beans. Looking forward to getting fresh veggies and for the kids to learn how things grow.

Girl Friends

We had some friends over for dinner Sunday. They have a little girl, Sofia, who Claire was so excited to play with. She calls her "baby Fia", she is a year younger than Claire but look at that hair! We don't have to many girl friends, it was a fun night.

Auntie Jo Visits

Me and my Sis.

Chuck E. Cheese - Owen's first time.

Snuggles.

Auntie Jo (My Sister Katie) surprised us Friday with a phone call saying they were coming over for the weekend. We have so much fun when she visits. We shopped and she spoiled the kids as always. Sunday she took Owen James to Chuck E. Cheese (unbeknownst to his mother). Owen is still talking about it. As Katie and Levi were leaving, Katie told Owen she would see him in a few weeks for Parker's birthday. Owen asked if they could go back to Chuck E. Cheese then too! As long as I don't have to go more power to Auntie Jo!! It was a great surprise visit!

A Day With Uncle "B"

Brad had Parker, Claire and Owen all day Friday while Molly and I were at work. Parker is always on his best behavior for Uncle "B". He ate good and napped good too! Claire and Owen love that "Park Park". Parker follows Owen around everywhere he goes, it's pretty adorable.

The JoJo's Stop In

Brad's Grandparent's (the JoJo's) stayed with us Thursday night on their way up north. They brought Coco their VERY old dog and Claire took a liking to her. Surprisingly Coco took a liking to Claire too.

Klamath Falls Trip

We headed to Klamath last Wednesday for Brad to have some "man" time and for me and the kids to visit with Nicole, Logan, Cameron, Aunt Kenzie, Hunter and Angalee.

Here are some of the HIGHLIGHTS from our trip.

Thursday evening we headed to the street fair. We walked around, looked at vendors and listened to live bands until the kids all hit their walls.
Friday morning we got grabbed a Dutch Bros. on the way to the Bounce House place. Then the bouncing began...SO MUCH FUN!
That night we made homemade pizza. Cheese for the kids of course, BBQ Chicken for the ladies.Saturday morning after breakfast the kiddos painted cute little masks I found. Claire was a fairy, Cam a princess, Owen a lion, and Logan a pirate (argh).
The girls were so cute together. This was the first time they actually interacted on purpose, having little conversations and doing girly stuff. Such sweet sweet girls!
The boys were inseparable. They insisted on doing everything together, riding in the car, sleeping, using the potty, you name it. I took the boys to Albertsons while the girls were napping, a woman came up and asked if they were twins. I said no just friends, then Owen chimed up "Logan is my best friend", then Logan said "ya best friends". The lady about died laughing! Owen is still talking about how much fun he had.
Thanks Roommate for a great weekend!

Saturday

The Boys - Gone Fishin' at Merwin Reservoir. Owen did awesome on the boat and LOVES being on the lake with Daddy and Sean. Brad said he was such a good boy. He wore his life jacket the entire time, sat in his lawn chair, ate snacks and had a relaxing day on the lake.

The Girls - Baby shower in Sherwood, OR. Claire and I had a perfect girls day, shopping, lunch and a baby shower. I wish she was old enough for mani/pedi's (in time). It was so much fun spending the day with my sweet daughter!

I am Lucky...That's All I Can Say

Claire and Lexi....Again

I know what some (most) of you are thinking....oh that crazy cat lady is posting pictures of her kids with her cat again. Am I right? I just think they are so stinkin' cute together not to mention that Claire is rarely gentle with her and she being so sweet here. All tucked under her blanket together. I'll stop doing it I swear!

Highlights

I know I have mentioned this before but these kiddos LOVE Highlights. Every time we bring in the mail Owen asks if he got a new magazine. He is an absolute ROCK STAR at the hidden picture puzzles (you know the one where there is a shovel hidden in the bushes or a pencil that blends into a fence post). Brad brought the mail in Saturday evening and before I knew it the kids had it open to the picture puzzle and Owen was helping Claire find them. Every time he would point a hidden item out Claire would yell "right there brodda", and Owen would say "good job Sissy". Adorable! Thanks again JoJo's for a great gift.

We are Loving That it's Park Season Again

Brad's been running on Fridays and the last stop is always a park. So fun for them while mommy is slaving away at work:-)

32 Years Young Today

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A GREAT DAD AND HUSBAND.

Happy Mother's Day

A BIG, GIANT Happy Mother's Day wish for all the mother's out there who mean so much to us! We love you!

My sweet husband and kiddos surprised me with a Kindle for Mother's Day and I LOVE it. I have been wanting it for a while now, but wasn't sure if I could give up flipping pages and sharing books. Low and behold I think it's awesome. Let me share with you some of the perks..... Books are cheaper, all the classics are FREE and here's an added bonus I actually feel kinda trendy (it's been a while)!

Thank you sweet family.

Mother's Day Weekend - Black Butte

This was the view off the back deck, the weather was a bit gloomy but who cares, look at this view.

We celebrated Sparky's Birthday Friday after we arrived. I made my sweet Birthday Boy Ruben sandwiches and homemade ice cream sandwiches.
After the birthday celebration, we headed to the pool. I was in the pool so not too many pics of that. What a blast. We NEED to get these kiddos in swim lessons, they LOVE the pool!
Here's a few of Amma Debbie and her grand babies.
The Mommy and the Daddy.
Sean, his sister (Stacy), his mom (Dianna), Papa Rob and I all decided to have a little trail ride Saturday. It had been a really long time since any of us had been on a horse, it was so fun!
While we were riding the rest of the gang was back at the house. The kids played and played. This is Josh and Lilly (Sean's niece and nephew), the are the exact same ages of Claire and Owen. They were all very cute together.
Saturday afternoon we celebrated mother's day with a delicious BBQ, Thanks to everyone for a fantastic dinner. Happy Mother's Day!
Parker had a rough night Saturday, but on the upside he was REAL snuggly Sunday morning. He of course chose Brad to give his snuggles to. I think it lasted about 45 minutes. For those of you who have not met our little Parker Boy, that is rare. Brad LOVED it, cute!
What a GREAT weekend, thanks Molly and Sean for the invite. Looking forward to our next trip.
