Owen Singing

Two Jams by Owen James.

The Wonder Pets Theme Song, and His ABC's

A Summer Day

With the pool set up and the temperature in the 80's there was no way we were hanging out inside today. We played in the pool (Claire was not a huge fan, but Owen was in the pool the entire day), played with the dogs, ate lunch and dinner out side, Brad finished our block project (now there are raised beds around the entire house and shop), and just had an all around great day together as a family.

Let Summer Begin...Settin' up the Pool

Brad has boycotted putting up our big pool this year, "we just aren't going to be home enough", he says :-( The kids and I decided that it wouldn't be summer with out a pool, this is what we came up with. As Owen would say every time he gets something he wants from Target "thank you Target". The kids had a blast setting it up, let's hope they like playing in it just as much.

Another Funny Story....

So after dinner Friday night we let the kiddos have a little piece of cake. Normally Claire is completely covered in whatever she is eating and Owen is Mr. neat and tidy. NOT THIS TIME... Owen had it everywhere, we told him he was more of a mess than Sissy, he said "nuh uh mama". Then it went back and forth the two of them showing me there dirty hands and faces...laughing and teasing each other. Just another funny story.

Tractor Update

As promised, for all of you keeping up on Brad's old tractor progress... He has been using it, actually using it, to do things like blade the driveway and plow a drainline. My dad fabricated this converter so that Brad can use the implements from his International on Brad's Ford (I know...I totally sound like I know what I'm talking about, Brad just helped me write that!).

Happy Father's Day Daddy-o

Brad took the day off work Friday so I could be with my sister at the hospital. The kids were asleep when I left and asleep when I got home. What a great husband I have for letting me do that, and share that special time with my sister. That being said, he deserved a little break. Father's Day morning we woke up and made Daddy pancakes, then we left him alone for a few hours. He did some tractor work around the house and brought in a load of dirt (things he loves doing). After we got home and the kiddos had small naps we took Daddy to Mexican. As most of you know, Brad will always pick Mexican. I think the kids love Mexican food as much as Daddy. Thanks Sparky for being such a great Dad, and husband too!

Back up the Road to Cabela's

We spent the Saturday before Father's Day at Cabela's with the Tuomisto's. Those kids are so cute together. I just love how excited Owen gets on the drive up because he gets to see "Kai Daniel and Mayli girl". And let's not forget how excited Brad gets to Ryan! Looking forward to the next time.

Parker James Poche'

Parker was born on Friday the 18th, 2010. 7 lbs, 3 oz. and 20 inches long. We are so excited to welcome another sweet baby boy to the family. Claire and Owen got to meet baby Parker on Saturday (photos to come, they are on my parents camera). They are both overjoyed. Owen is so good and so sweet, and Claire's new favorite word is "baby". Happy Birthday Parker James!

Owen's 2nd Haircut

We got Owen's haircut for the 2nd time in his life today. He didn't love the second one as much as the first. It took some persuading and of course a sucker. By the time she was done he was happy and excited to show Daddy his haircut. We got home and Owen wanted "some cute pic-urs of Owen haircut". I started taking pictures and in true lil' sis fashion, whatever Owen wants Claire wants. So Sissy got in on the new haircut photo session. Cute babies!

Garage Sale

We have had a pretty successful garage sale. Made lots of money and the weather was GREAT!

Hunter's First Mobey Ride

I helped Kenzie get wrapped up to give Hunter his first Mobey ride. He squirmed for about two seconds and then slept for ever. Success!

A Boy and His Dog

Grace and Owen were playing in the front yard and I snapped a couple pics. He loves his doggies.
