Thanksgiving Weekend in Albany

We spent Friday and Saturday nights in Albany to celebrate thanksgiving with Papa Rob and Amma Debbie. The kiddos had fun working on the property and hanging out with their cousins.

Sunday morning we had breakfast at Elmer's...the kids ordered the "bear pancake" look how fun it was, the kids devoured the poor thing. DELISH!

So Thankful

Brad and I took the kids out for Mexican tonight to celebrate Thanksgiving. My husband and children LOVE LOVE LOVE Mexican food so this was a pretty big deal. We will be spending the weekend in Albany for Thanksgiving ROUND 2. After Dinner I asked each of the kids what the were thankful for.....

Claire was first, she said.... " for you Mommy and really big Barbies".

Owen said... "for Auntie Molly, and Parker, and Amma Debbie". I asked him if that was all and he said "no Mommy, for my whole family". (you can't make this stuff up and be any cuter, right?)

I said... "I'm thankful for a healthy family, for two sweet kiddos that make life oh so INTERESTING, and lots of love and support".

Sparky said... "For you my sweetheart, and my family".

"Are We Going Shooting Daddy?"

We headed about 15 miles east of the house to shoot Brads gun and get a little hiking in. It was a cold morning and we had a little skiff of snow, so fun for the kiddos. The best part about this trip was Owen looking through the "nockulars" telling brad "nope didn't hit it or it was high Daddy".

I came outside Sunday morning to see what Brad and the kiddos were up to....this is what I found them doing. Brad was taking pictures of some cool frost that he found growing on the picnic table and the kids were playing in it. So cute!

Great Gram and Great Aunt Martha's Birthday Party

We spent yesterday in Salem celebrating Great Grandma Jean and Great Aunt Martha's birthdays. We had a great time, the food was fantastic, and as always we love spending time with the family. Happy Birthday to two SUPER ladies. Love you!

Highlights from Aunt and Amma's Visit

They flew in on Friday morning (Hunter's first airplane ride). Brad and Claire headed to the airport to pick them up and take them out to lunch. Owen and I finished up chores at home and picked out a movie for FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE NIGHT. Gnomeo and Juliette (pretty cute). Balloon fun.....This accounted for many many hours of fun over the weekend. WE LOVE BALLOONS!
Balloon time ended with a little "fake sleeping" before the real thing.
Here are some just hanging out pics...Monday night we headed to dinner before Amma, Aunt and Hunter had to catch their flight home. So cute all the kiddos cozy in the back of the truck. Aunt and Amma were not as comfy in the front seat.

After dinner we sat out side the restaurant, the kiddos had a mad dance party to the restaurant music mix and we said our good-byes.
