First Carousal Ride

We were at the Mall doing a little Christmas shopping and the kids wanted to ride the carousal. We weren't sure how they were going to react.... Owen loved it and wanted to go again. He didn't even want me to hold on to him. Claire wanted mommy to "hold, hold". Sorry the pic isn't that great...Owen is behind the bar:-)

Chritmas Lights

It's so fun having kids old enough to understand the magic of Christmas. The kids love Christmas music and stories and of course lights! After dinner we put the kids in their pj's and drove around a few neighborhoods in town to look at lights. These two were our favorites.

Storybook Land

Last Wednesday I took Parker and the kids to visit Amma Debbie and Papa Rob and to go through Storybook Land. This is kind of an Albany Christmas tradition, we used to do it when we were kids. There is a train city, cartoon exhibits, trees, lights, dollhouse villages and so much more. Claire and Owen had a blast and Parker was mesmerized by all the lights. We finished the trip with candy canes....the line for Santa was WAY too long. Parker even got to have a lick. Thanks Papa and Amma, what a great idea.

The Clark Family Christmas Tree

So all the angels brought their gifts of precious jewels and shinning gold, and fastened them upon the branches of the Little Tree. Then the leader of the angels' band took up the Little Tree from the ground and bore it, laden with it's precious burden, to the feet of the Christ-child.

Tree Hunting

We ventured about 3 miles from the house this year to hunt the 2010 Clark Family Christmas Tree. There is a great little u-cut just down the road. My Sister, Sean and Parker joined us as well as Owen's little buddy Caleb and the rest of the Tams Family. We hunted our trees, had some cocoa, took some pics and headed home. It was real cold and windy, but dry and clear. Christmas has begun!

Bacon Anyone?

Saturday we headed to Kenzie's house for dinner. We had the Bacon, Bacon, Bacon pizza from Papa Murphy's (pretty darn good, how could it not be?) After a few rounds of heart attack pizza Grandma Ceal and the kiddos made cookies for dessert. What creative little kiddos. Don't tell Aunt Kenzie that Claire tried to feed one to Hunter:-)

Welcome Home Girls

Brad has worked so hard designing and building the perfect chicken house. Friday after thanksgiving we moved the girls in after Brad and Jeff put the finishing touches on. We are going to have to wait for Spring to prime and paint as it is just a little to cold and soggy right now. The chickens are happily producing eggs and are loving their a lit warm house. The house features a light, 8-10' ceilings, a window, nest boxes that can be opened from the outside (yippee for the collectors), many roosts to choose from, and a magnificent yard with limbs and rocks to play on. NICE WORK SPARKY!

Happy Thanksgiving

Turkey day started off with some fort building with Grandpa Jeff.

Then of course a ton of cooking and baking. Look at Ceal and Owen's Blue Berry Pie. I tried something new this year, well two things actually. First making pie crusts from scratch and second, Pumpkin Cheese Cake Tartlets...DELISH!

THEN IT WAS TIME TO EAT!
Happy Thanksgiving. It was great to have Grandma and Grandpa Clark at the house to celebrate the holiday. They stayed the entire weekend and we all had a blast.
