Friday Claire had her 3 year well child checkup and she is a healthy happy girl! She did absolutely AWESOME at the appointment. She took her shoes off, got right up on the scale, chit-chatted with the nurses, got measured, chit-chatted some more and headed into the exam room. The nurse took her blood pressure and Claire told her that "my brother can do that too". Meaning Owen takes her blood pressure with our toy doctor set at home. She was so cute answering all the doctor questions and she let the doctor do the entire exam with no complaints and in super good spirits. Okay now for the BEST part. The nurse came back in after the doctor was finished to give Claire 2 shots. She told Claire what was going to happen and told her to pretend like she was blowing out her Birthday candles when she felt a poke......and she did it, twice! She never cried or got upset and was super excited about the sparkle band-aids. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, IT WAS THE BEST APPOINTMENT EVER!!!!Stats: 34lbs, 3'2"tall, she did all of her colors for the doctor, counted to 16, and sang almost all of the alphabet.
After Claire's appointment we swung by Daddy's office and took him to lunch to celebrate the FABULOUS doctor's appointment. Claire wrecked a cheeseburger and fries.
