Part 3 Clark Family Vacation - Just the 4 of Us
Wednesday morning was our first morning just the 4 of us. The kids ate cereal right out the box for breakfast thanks to Grandma Ceal. They thought it was the coolest thing. Funny story...I went to Freddies with the kids before we left and told the kids they could pick out a sugar cereal for the cabin. Claire wanted Kix and Owen insisted on Honey Nut Cheerios. Silly kids!
After breakfast we headed to Foster Creek. Owen caught his first fish here last year and we were hoping Claire would have her turn this year. Foster Creek came through and Claire did catch her first fish. Check out the VIDEO!

Owen was very excited for his little sis.
Thursday morning Claire and I let the boys sleep in. We went on walk, made breakfast and waited for the boys to roll out of bed around 9am.

After the boys got up we ate some breakfast and headed out on yet another little walk down the river trail. Owen is so much more independent this year. He heads up the trail on his own, climbs over the rocks all by himself. He was very good about stopping and waiting for us if he got just a little too far ahead. Such an adorable big boy.

Another big step for our little man was using the outhouse. Last year he wasn't fully potty trained. I'm sure he is going to LOVE this picture in a few years!
Next was a bike ride through the campground to Natural Bridge. The kids have so much fun riding in the trailer. They are constantly trying to tell Brad how to drive, it's hilarious. Owen will tell him which way to go and is always reminding him to use both hands.

Walking around Natural Bridge made us hungry so we headed back through the campground and had a little picnic lunch and threw some rocks in the river. Tuesday was our 8th wedding Anniversary so here's to us (this was the first picture we took of ourselves).

I love this picture of Owen relaxing with the comics while Claire took a nap.
Friday was our last day at the cabin, way to short of a trip. The last adventure of our trip was a walk down to the gorge, at every lookout the kids would run to the fence and ask us if we could see how close the river was or how fast it was going. They are so stinkin smart! And finally we took some cabin porch pics, packed up and hit the road to part 4 of our vacation, Klamath Falls.
