Wesport - Friday/Saturday

Last weekend we headed to Twin Harbors State Park near Westport WA with the Tuomistos and the Dyks.  It was a great weekend with good friends and lots of fun.

 

Friday night after some dinner we headed to the beach to watch the sunset.

 

Then we spent most of the day Saturday at the beach.  It was gorgeous!! 

After a day at the beach, we headed back to camp for dinner and some balloon animals (thanks Matt:)

 

And apparently Claire ROCKS at jump rope.  Thanks for bringing your jump rope Mayli!

The Kiddos got a fun care package from Cousin Hunter and family. They love their mucca's and had a blast with their "paint craft".  Thanks so much, we love you and miss you!

Clayton and Parkers First Overnighter

Clayton and Parker had their first sleepover with their cousins a couple weeks ago (I know I am way behind).  Molly and Sean needed a little time alone and we got the kiddos.  It was GREAT.  We really had no issues whatsoever, a VERY nice surprise!

Fair Time

Brad and I took the kiddos to the fair after work last Wednesday.  We did the usual animals, exhibits, fair food, and eating in the grandstands.  But this year we did something NEW, we rode the rides!  The kiddos were a little intimidated at first and I thought the 12 tickets I bought (which are $1/ea. and usually 3 or 4 tickets/ ride) were going to go to waste.  Then we found the airplanes....Claire didn't want to go still so Owen said he would if I went too, so I did.  After that they wanted to do every ride possible (the 36" to 44" rides:), WITHOUT Brad and I.  We even had to come back after dinner and buy a few more rounds of tickets.  Next year I think we will buy the wrist bands!

Union, OR Cabin Trip - The End

Thanks Auntie Jo and Levi for ALL your planning and hard work to make this such a GREAT weekend, we love you.

Union, OR Cabin Trip - Day 3

Saturday morning was spent just playing and relaxing around the cabin.

 Then we played in the creek...

When we got home Owen decided he was going to ride his motorcycle....with his Mom!

This is one of the many crafts Great Aunt Martha came up with...Claire's crown says "Princess of the Jungle"

Then Owen wanted to ride again, this time with Daddy.  Owen does everything himself, the throttle, steering etc.. He just isn't confident enough to ride all by himself.  We are SO proud of him!!!!

After dinner we headed up high in the mountains to a place where Katie and Levi ride snowmobiles to watch the sunset.  All the three Sisters, Brad and Levi rode bikes/quads and a truck full of people made the trek too.  IT WAS AMAZING!

Auntie Jo made these things called banana boats, I think Owen and Auntie Jo were the only ones who liked them:)

On our way up Brad blew a back tire....we stashed it in the bushes and decided we would pick it up on our way back to the cabin.  It was dark of course when we went back.  It was a little trickier to find than we had expected but it all ended well!
