Holiday Spirit

Brad has been working nights so Owen, Claire and I ventured out in the cold to put up a few outside lights. We just did yard stuff this year.....I'm not as fun as Brad. Here are the kiddos all bundled up.

Christmas Tree Hunting...Kinda

We went to the U-cut on Saturday. We entertained the thought of going out in the woods for about 5 seconds and then decided it was so much easier to go to the u-cut. It's real close to the house and we could be home in time for lunch and most importantly naps. Amy was being induced the very next day so going to the u-cut was a bit nicer for her too:-) It was 18 degrees and gorgeous. Owen didn't seem as impressed as we were, he was a little grumpy as you'll see in the pics.

More Milestones for Claire

-Our little cutie is using a sippy all by her self.
-She has been crawling for a few weeks now...since the day after thanksgiving and on Monday she decided to climb the stairs. So we are back in the business of baby gates.
-She is saying mama, dada, baba and oooh. I don't think she is saying mama and dada to us specifically but it's still cute!
-She is wearing 9 month and 12 month outfits. Sadly we are officially out of all of our 6 month clothes. And I tried on a pair of size 3 shoes (thanks again Tuomisto's) and they fit.

Turkey Day in La Grande

Wednesday......already starting the food!

Thursday.......Started out frosting Amma Deb's famous sugar cookies. Then dinner and family fun.

Friday......We got up early and shopped. After we got home we were all sitting in the living room and our little peanut crawled for the first time! I was saying to Great Grandma that we set a goal for Claire to crawl by Thanksgiving.....Great Amma said she'll probably do it right now because we were all circled around her on the floor.....and she did! That night Auntie Katie and Owen made home-made cinnamon rolls for the morning.

What a fun 4 days in La Grande. Thanks Sister Katie and Levi for the hospitality and fun!

Silly Sister

I sat Sister down in the middle of the front room to go get Owen up from his nap.......I come down stairs and I can't find sister! I have the mini heart-attack, followed by frantically running through the house trying to remember if I really left her the middle of the front room or.....then I heard her, she had gotten herself up underneath the buffet as pictured. I sent brother under there for some photos ops. She is a curious little one!!!

Sharing Music

Hunter gave Owen this rockin' guitar which he LOVES.......and until this morning sister was not allowed to touch it! He finally warmed up and brought it over to sister as she was finishing her breakfast to play a little tune. By the way it has a microphone.........fun for all!!!!!
